Slicing the wind and the putrid fog the castle looms above the ruin,
The face of grandeur dwarfs the meek and it pierces the parlour of Heaven,
I heard the cries through the maddening walls as though a soul had left its confines, all natural instinct implored me to flee but I was bound by a holy decree.

The cold upon my fist, needling the fear in my heart and the voice like ice yet hands that knew a fires touch, and those eyes, still searching, a predator in the quiet of night, I entreated, was suddenly swallowed, as the door sealed from behind.

Upon the walls crude inscriptions displayed the names of the opposers,
´Vermin` she muttered ´ Who couldn't be shown the sin of their ways.` Their faces were stretched, plastered to stone, no resemblance due to the decay. Falling backward in horror and overcome by sheer terror I begged God to release me from this place.

Oh please God no

And she cried:
Give yourself into the night, as the candle burns whisper your dreams,
speak the words to me, between the lines from their book of disease,
offer your blood to the beast, piercing through flesh, straight to the bone and gnawing into your soul and turning the screw further deeper still.
